SCIENCE

The goal of the Fair Lawn Science program is that all students should achieve science literacy.  Students from kindergarten through twelfth grade are provided with a science curriculum which focuses on inquiry based science investigations.  Our K-5 program is spiraled to integrate many aspects of life, physical, earth, and environmental science which is taught by the classroom teacher.  Our middle school program is departmentalized and focused on specific areas of science.  Our high school program includes environmental science, biology, chemistry, physics, and geology courses.  We currently offer AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science and various honors courses.  Unique science electives at FLHS include horticulture and forensics science, in addition to human anatomy and physiology.
